Neat bottle with rounded bottom corners - possibly used for ginger ale. 1916 Glenwood-Inglewood Co. soda water bottle from Minneapolis, Minnesota. 9 3/8 inches tall. Pale green. Machine-made crown top proprietary mold bottle. Root Glass Co. Embossed on the front heel of the bottle:: THE GLENWOOD- / INGLEWOOD CO. / 1758 ROOT 16 Embossed on the back heel:: MINNEAPOLIS / CONTENTS 10-OUNCES. Embossed large G.-I. on the bottom. Bottle was blown in 1916 by the Root Glass Co. of Terre Haute, Indiana. Fine condition. Clean inside and out - no cloudiness. Very light wear. There is a small surface abrasion on the front neck of the bottle - see last photo. No cracks, chips or bruises. The bottle does NOT say Minnesota.
