RARE STEIFF BEAR replica 1908. 100 Anniversary Limited edition # 481/ 2000 bears. 2008.
Due to a very harsh winter in Berlin, Steiff began converting Teddy Bears into holders for a hot water bottle, to bring warmth and comfort for those cold winter days. Here we have a delightful Replica, 100 anniversary limited edition from 1908.
Bear is 22in tall and fully jointed. He is stuffed with wood shavings and has two tone, glass eyes. He is crafted from the finest, curly light brown mohair, with hook and eye fastening down his torso. His tummy conceals a wool felt lining. He has contrasting wool felt paw pads and the most enchanting hand stitched nose and mouth, which gives the friendliest, of heart warm faces.
No bottle included.
