This is a used item that was purchased recently it retails for $110.00. It has three buttons on top that control the amount of carbonation. Only one of the buttons is operational. With that said it works fine. If you want to add more carbonation you just tap the button one two or three times. This comes with a bottle and one sodastream quick connect cartridge. As you see in the photo of the three buttons the two on the right are the ones that are not functional. I have used it and it works. What happened was a light was above it and caused the plastic to warp a little. Nothing to do with overheating.
