is from Oberlahnstein, a town in Rhineland, Germany , a famous castle called Schloss Martinsburg, site of where good king Wenceslaus was deposed in 1400. This rare mineral water bottle was made for the American market and dates from the 1870s or so. There are a few imperfections, including over the stamp, but the stamp is still readable. There is a small chip on the side. It's 11 3/4" tall by 3 3/8" round and marked NO 2. A very nice bottle for any salt glazed collection.
