Collectibles / Bottles & Insulators / Bottles / Modern (1900-Now) / Other Modern Bottles
This is an emerald green glass jug or bottle that was used to store water or juice in the refrigerator in the mid 20th century. It is embossed with the word "WATER" on one side and "JUICE" on the other side. On the other two sides you see the increments of the ounces run from 8-40 ounces. The mark on the bottom indicates it was produced in Argentina by a glass company called Cristalerias Cattorini Hermanos [Cattorini Brothers Glass Company]. A couple may need a good, thorough washing, but there are no chips, cracks, or scratches on any of the initial lot of 6 bottles. Shipping information is
for one item only. For buyers of more than one item in the lot, eBay’s practice
is to simply multiply the cost for shipping one item by the number of items
purchased, resulting in ridiculously high shipping costs. In such cases, we
carefully pack the multiple items in a suitable carton and calculate the actual
amount of shipping cost for those items. Then we refund to the buyer whatever the
overage might be. You can trust us to keep our promises as evidenced by our
stellar eBay rating, both as seller and buyer. Because WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS , please, please look at the photos carefully
and contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns as we welcome such
correspondence. Notes on shipping : While we
wish we could provide free shipping, at these prices we simply cannot. We generally
use USPS Priority Mail because the rates are competitive, and insurance is
included in the rates. Please know that we NEVER charge more than what
eBay calculates the actual shipping costs will be from our zip code to yours,
and we never add handling charges but instead absorb the costs of shipping
materials, rather than passing those costs along to our buyers. In the rare
case that there is damage during shipment, it will be the BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY to file a claim with the USPS. USPS will require the buyer to
take the merchandise and shipping carton to the local post office even if we
sellers file the claim, so in our experience, it is to the buyer’s advantage to
file the claim. Of course, we will help in any way we can. DO NOT BUY IF THAT IS
UNACCEPTABLE.
